Masteroppgaveseminar for masterstudenter som skal skrive i 2014. Seminaret inngår som en del av veiledningen som gis (jfr. følge reglementet).

"The M.Sc. thesis should show the student’s understanding, reflection, maturity and analytical ability. The thesis will train the student to identify problems within one of the study programmer’s scientific fields and to analyze and treat them with a scientific approach. Furthermore, the thesis is an exercise in scientific writing."

• 10.15 – 12.00:  William Warner:  Academic Writing, Concision & Precision 
• 12.15 –13.00: Arild Angelsen:  Common mistakes in thesis writing
• The main parts of a typical thesis, a checklist for common mistakes, and what can make the examiner happy (and give the student good grades)      
• 13.15 – 14.00:  Kyrre Rickertsen: Language, Style, Structure and References. 

 After the seminar, if possible, students advice to have a meeting with their supervisors.
